About Dr. Peter J. Torok

Dr. Torok grew up in North Olmsted, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University and received his medical doctorate from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Torok served nine years with the U.S. Navy. He completed his surgery internship at Tripler Army Medical Center. He then served two years as a General Medical Officer with the Mid Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor. Dr. Torok completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego and then served his last two years in the Navy in Okinawa, Japan. Living in Japan was a wonderful experience, but there is nothing like living in another country to make you realize how great it is to live in America.
